Cookie policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This policy covers the website gasview.in. The GasView app is covered by our Privacy policy.

Which cookies do we use?

Necessary (always on). These make the site work and cannot be turned off:

• cmplz_*: remember your cookie choice and whether you have seen the banner. Kept for up to 365 days.
• pll_language: remembers the site language (English, Marathi or Hindi). Kept for up to 1 year.
• Google reCAPTCHA: protects our forms from spam. On pages with a form, it sends Google your IP address and browser data, and Google may store its own cookies or browser data.

Analytics (on unless you choose Reject). We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. We use New Relic to measure how fast pages load and to find errors. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off.

• _ga and _ga_*: set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart. Kept for up to 2 years.
• NRBA_SESSION (browser storage): set by New Relic to measure how fast pages load and to catch errors. It also records a few sessions with all text and form fields hidden. Ends after 4 hours, or 30 minutes without activity.

Advertising. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

How can you change your choice?

On your first visit, a banner explains our cookies. Choose OK to keep analytics on, or Reject to turn it off. After you choose Reject, Google Analytics no longer sets or reads its cookies in your browser.

You can change your choice at any time with the button below, or with the Cookie settings link on the banner.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the site may forget your language or show the banner again.

Where can you find more information?

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy policy. If you have questions about cookies, email hello@gasview.in.
